Identity of Winners/Eligible Participants. Their keyboard features similar key strokes, but is only available without a number keypad for $99. If you want this type of keyboard with a number keypad, it is only available as a WIRED keyboard.
But Apple's only wireless keyboard comes without a number keypad. Other features put the Apple keyboard to shame.
You can connect up to 4 devices for starters. It takes 5 hours to charge that should last a full year. Apple's comes with replacement batteries. Pricing is the same for both wireless keyboards. Would buy again. I originally read about this keyboard in an article and went to B&H as my most trusted source for electronics. It was available and at one of the better prices I could find. Set up was quick, after following the instructions to charge it for 5 hours (a once a YEAR process) I haven't found a flaw yet. It's sturdy, and being able to use it on all my couch potato gadgets is very handy. It's the best keyboard I've EVER used, not just used lately. My ONLY complaint is not the fault of the keyboard, it's bluetooth in general.
I wish it would work from 10-12 feet away so I could run my Chromecast from the couch. When it is connected to a device any of the unused slots also seem to trigger a constant stream of pairing requests to nearby devices which then prevents those devices from working properly with their own bluetooth devices because of the traffic overload. As soon as I powered this off every other device was much happier (and quieter in the bluetooth space) and I was as well. The great design and aesthetics, over hyped as they were from reviews everywhere, don't make up for it's terrible performance. The most attractive feature to me is the large battery advertised to require charging about once per year. If that claim holds up it will be fantastic.
Second is the ability to pair with up to four Bluetooth devices and the ability to switch pairings by pushing a key. I have been using the product for about two weeks now and have no major issues to complain about. It just works. The only nit to pick is the slightly different feel of the keys themselves, a little 'spongier' than Apple's keyboard but quite acceptable. I'm so disappointed by the battery life. I have to constantly keep the wire connected to it otherwise the keystroke gets interference from somewhere and can't keep up. I would recommend you look elsewhere for something else but I don't think anyone makes one that looks so similar to the original Apple keyboard. I think I'm just going to buy the Apple keyboard and do without the numbers pad.
